💼 About This Role

You'll take full ownership of n8n's end-to-end accounting operations and build a scalable, automated finance foundation for a high-growth SaaS company. You'll lead insourcing of accounting activities, ensure compliant global reporting, and drive automation of accounting workflows. This role offers the chance to shape the financial backbone of a $2.5bn startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead insourcing of accounting activities to internal scalable foundation
• Own full accounting cycle including AP/AR, GL, accruals, and deferrals
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements under HGB
• Coordinate with tax advisors on filings, audits, and statutory reporting
• Oversee vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and financial controls

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience in tech or SaaS company
• HGB expertise and experience preparing financial statements
• Experience with multi-entity structures and consolidations
• Proficiency in DATEV, NetSuite, and AP/AR automation tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or commercial training
• Audit or tax firm experience
• German language skills
• IFRS/US-GAAP knowledge
