You will prepare and review structural calculations for bridge design projects, lead structural designers, develop plans and cost estimates, and perform modeling and analysis. This role offers complex challenges and a team that values your growth.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• PE License in Tennessee or ability to obtain through reciprocity
• Minimum of 4 years of bridge design experience
• Experience working with TDOT and local municipalities is a plus
• Proficiency in Bentley CAD and structural design software
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to deliver quality work within budget and schedule

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects
• Lead structural designers and review their work on bridge design projects
• Develop and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports
• Perform modeling and analysis
• Review and sign off on basic design calculations, quantities, and plan elements
• Model, analyze and/or design elements of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines
• Work independently and develop task deliverables in a competent and reviewable manner
