💼 About This Role

You'll own end-to-end payroll accounting for ShipBob's global operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You'll prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and support audits. This is a highly visible role at the intersection of Accounting, Payroll, HR, and Finance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare and review global payroll journal entries and accruals.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for payroll accounts.
• Prepare flux analysis and variance commentary for payroll accounts.
• Support audits and SOX compliance for payroll accounting.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with 2+ in payroll accounting.
• GAAP knowledge and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Payroll platform experience (ADP, Deel) and advanced Excel skills.

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA or active CPA candidacy.
• Multi-jurisdiction payroll tax compliance experience.
• International statutory reporting exposure (UK, Australia, India, Spain).
