You'll architect embedded compute platforms for autonomous robots at Field AI, ensuring tight hardware-software integration for federal deployment. You'll optimize Linux, firmware, and ROS stacks for reliability in field conditions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and configure embedded compute platforms for robotic systems
• Integrate compute with sensing and robotic systems, analyzing thermal and bandwidth constraints
• Bring up sensors and peripherals using USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, CAN, GMSL
• Build and maintain drivers, ROS nodes, and data acquisition pipelines

📋 Requirements

• Experience with embedded platforms (Jetson, Raspberry Pi, x86 NUCs, custom SBCs)
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded and application-level development
• Experience with communication protocols (USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, CAN, GMSL)
• Familiarity with ROS ecosystem (device drivers, TF, data streaming)
