Description

You will define the future of proactive moderation at Roblox, setting the multi-year technical strategy and architectural blueprint for machine learning in content safety. You will own massive-scale ML systems that detect and mitigate violative user-generated content to protect over 100 million daily active users.

Requirements

• 8+ years designing and operating large-scale ML systems in production
• Proven track record setting long-term technical direction for an entire ML domain
• Deep expertise in Computer Vision and/or Vision-Language Models
• Expertise in architecting scalable real-time ML inference services and data pipelines
• Exceptional product sense and strategic planning ability

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year technical vision and architectural strategy for ML in Content Safety
• Collaborate with executive-level leaders to prioritize the strategic ML roadmap
• Lead adoption and safe deployment of innovative ML techniques (transfer-learning, self-supervised learning, etc.)
• Drive end-to-end product development, building datasets, auto-labeling pipelines, and shipping solutions
• Spend 30-40% of time on backend and integration work, shipping code into production
