Description
You will drive store performance and deliver retail excellence by achieving financial targets, managing operations, and developing a team that provides exceptional in-store experiences. Your focus will be on store performance, people management, operational excellence, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Prior retail management experience required, ideally in fashion or footwear.
- Strong connection to Allbirds's mission, vision, and products.
- Curious, intentional, and low-ego, with an eye for simplifying complex situations and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in inventory management, stock takes, inventory counts, and replenishment cycles.
- Experienced in shift scheduling and talent management.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office / G-Suite.
- Able to work approximately 40 hours per week, including a minimum of one weekend day.
- Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs on a regular basis and stand for 95% of the work day.
Responsibilities
- Measure and monitor retail KPIs such as sales and NPS targets, taking action to improve business performance when needed.
- Conduct regular check ins and provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback; conduct quarterly reviews and create development plans; build succession plans; facilitate internal promotions; build a diverse team.
- Manage all store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash control, inventory shrinkage, loss prevention, security, ordering supplies, and compliance with laws.
- Ensure your team provides engaging and personalized try-on experiences; be hiring manager for in-store roles; develop and retain talent; resolve employee issues.
