Description
You will be a key member of the Deal Desk team, providing deal strategy, pricing guidance, and commercial expertise to drive revenue and scale in Clari deals. You'll support international sales teams with deal structuring, enforce pricing guardrails, and drive process improvements in partnership with cross-functional teams. This role offers the opportunity to make a difference by transforming how companies run revenue.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of deal desk experience
- Strategic thinker with focus on execution and operational excellence
- Exceptional customer service orientation with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work extended hours during end of quarter and high volume periods
- Strong SFDC and Excel skills
- Knowledge of basic revenue recognition principles
- Strong presence and communication with Sales and Finance leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Provide deal strategy, pricing, and discounting guidance to sales leadership
- Support international sales teams with deal structuring, price modeling, and proposal enhancement
- Enforce pricing, discounting, and commercial guardrails through approvals
- Drive process and system improvements in partnership with Business Applications, Field Sales, Revenue Accounting, Finance, and Order Management teams
- Perform UAT to support initiatives
- Represent the Deal Desk team on cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Provide ongoing enablement to the field on pricing, deal strategy, booking policies, and commercial guardrails
