💼 About This Role

You'll design and build scalable data pipelines for autonomous driving ML models at Waymo. Your work will accelerate the model development lifecycle by automating data curation and quality. You'll collaborate closely with ML engineers and research scientists to deliver high-impact workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable data pipelines for sensor data processing.
• Develop infrastructure for reliable, high-quality ML datasets.
• Build automated datagen and ingestion solutions for model training.
• Maintain critical data infrastructure for the Perception team.

📋 Requirements

• Outstanding programming skills in C++ or Python
• Experience in ML data engineering including data pipelines and curation
• Knowledge of ML development lifecycle (training, evaluation, deployment)
• 5+ years industry experience or PhD + 2 years

✨ Nice to Have

• Cross-functional collaboration with data users and stakeholders
• Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Beam, or Google Cloud Dataflow
• Building automated ML pipelines for continuous training/evaluation
