Description

You will provide rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes, performing evaluations, developing intervention plans, and educating patients and families to promote independence and safety.

Requirements

• Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform thorough evaluations of functional status and ADL/IADL performance
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor aspects and develop individualized intervention plans
• Evaluate home environment for hazards and identify equipment needs
• Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities
