Description

In this role, you'll lead design and architecture for core Roku OS UI frameworks and components, owning end-to-end delivery of complex multi-release UI initiatives. You'll make deep contributions across C++, BrightScript, and TypeScript, define performance architectures, and mentor engineers to elevate engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years building production UI or UI-adjacent systems with advanced C++ on embedded/consumer devices
• Extensive programming experience with C++ and Embedded Linux or Native Application development

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture for core Roku OS UI frameworks and components
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex multi-release UI initiatives
• Contribute across C++, BrightScript, and TypeScript stacks
• Define and implement performance architectures for rendering, layout, and animation
• Mentor engineers via design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance
