Description

You will define, execute, and ensure the technical integrity of all vehicle-level hardware testing for Aurora's self-driving vehicles. You'll orchestrate comprehensive hardware test programs, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and establish organizational standards for test execution and documentation to drive rigorous verification and validation of advanced hardware systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field
• 7+ years experience in hardware testing, verification, and validation with 2+ years in a technical lead role
• Deep understanding of V&V processes and testing methodologies for safety-critical hardware systems
• Experience with test automation tools and data collection hardware/software
• Working knowledge of systems engineering practices and requirement management tools

Responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for autonomous hardware integrations and vehicle platform hardware
• Act as technical leader coordinating vehicle-level testing across autonomous sub-systems and platform integrations
• Drive root-cause analysis of complex system failures and ensure robust corrective actions
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, software, operations, and safety teams on test requirements and schedules
• Oversee standardization of data collection, analysis, and documentation for vehicle-level hardware tests
