Description

You will lead the design, build, and activation of power infrastructure for Starlink production and other SpaceX facilities, managing projects from start to finish to support the mission of enabling life beyond Earth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
• 6+ years of professional experience with design and/or build of commercial or industrial power systems
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
• Experience with critical power infrastructure including UPS systems, backup generators, and automatic transfer switches
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit and National Electric Code

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and contractors through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for power scope items
• Collaborate with multi-discipline team to perform engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for critical projects
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through close-out
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time
