Description

You'll join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's global HR and payroll platform. Work on complex challenges that enable international employment, with freedom to organize your work and life.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping secure, reliable, scalable production systems
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows and improving through iteration
• Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, instrument verification, and close the loop on quality
• Experience with Postgres (or similar) and CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar)

Responsibilities

• Lead development of team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives
• Actively participate in product work, providing feedback and suggesting solutions
• Maintain understanding of team's domain from product and engineering perspectives
• Provide code reviews, debug technical issues, and contribute to shared codebase
• Mentor other engineers and participate in non-team activities (support rotations, hiring, RFC discussions)
