💼 About This Role

You'll prepare a company for its first external audit and entry into public markets. Working closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, you'll own technical accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance and readiness. You'll leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and collaborate with various stakeholders.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical accounting for audit and S-1 preparation
• Lead preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Oversee external audit process, ensuring readiness and compliance
• Establish workflows, controls, and reporting standards for public-company operations

📋 Requirements

• Active CPA with Big 4 or national firm background
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting or financial reporting
• Deep understanding of US GAAP principles
• Experience preparing GAAP financial statements from scratch
