Description

You will benchmark and optimize ClickHouse Cloud performance, working with core development and cloud teams to enhance distributed database systems. You'll develop and manage tools for chaos engineering and performance analysis, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years software development experience building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go, C/C++, Java, or similar
• Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and distributed system architectures
• Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes
• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their IaaS offerings

Responsibilities

• Benchmark system and database performance, capacity sizing and optimization
• Troubleshoot and debug application and server errors, triage accordingly
• Recommend configuration tuning/optimizations for performance bottlenecks
• Develop and manage tools to systematically run chaos experiments and measure impact
• Plan and drive Chaos initiatives across Engineering teams
