Description

You will own the full development lifecycle of aerodynamic design and analysis for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms, from conceptual design through flight test. Your work will involve using both low and high order methods, developing analysis tools, and supporting wind tunnel and flight test campaigns to ensure high-performance systems for contested environments.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Aerospace Engineering
• 3+ years experience as an individual contributing engineer
• Experience with aircraft performance and analysis predictions
• Proficient in aerodynamic analysis (hand calculations, vortex lattice, panel methods, CFD)
• Strong programming skills (MATLAB, Python) for tool development

Responsibilities

• Aerodynamic design of unmanned air vehicles/missiles at conceptual, preliminary, and detail design maturities
• Aerodynamic analysis using low and high order methods, including tool development
• Stability and control analysis, aircraft performance modeling and simulation
• Aerodynamic loads generation
• Wind tunnel and flight test planning, execution, and analysis
