💼 About This Role

You'll join Flexport Capital's credit team, managing a large portfolio of 40–60+ accounts spanning SMB to enterprise borrowers. You'll independently underwrite IF, LF, Term Loan and ABL deals and drive management of distressed credits and workouts. This role offers the chance to shape processes and risk models for a $10T global trade industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage 40–60+ accounts with credit limits up to $5M
• Underwrite IF, LF, Term Loan and ABL deals end-to-end
• Resolve complex credit issues and recommend policy exceptions
• Lead client diligence calls with CFOs and controllers
• Drive process improvements in credit operations

📋 Requirements

• 5–7 years experience in commercial lending or credit risk
• Independent underwriting capability for IF/LF and Term Loan facilities
• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics

• Trade finance or inventory financing experience
• Python and Looker skills
• MBA, CFA, or FRM
