Description

You will guide the security of MongoDB's cloud-based infrastructure, working hands-on as a Staff SRE while mentoring a small team. You'll design and deploy security solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, build automated monitoring and security tooling, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to enforce high security standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years SRE/infrastructure engineering with security focus, 2+ at senior/staff level
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security across OS networking to cloud provider configurations
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP including IAM, VPC, security groups, and cloud security tools
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Golang) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) including network/compute security, identity management, and CSPM
• Build automated solutions for real-time security monitoring, logging, and alerting in cloud environments
• Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud-native security tools for endpoint security, IAM, and CSPM
