You will lead design and production of Starlink consumer hardware, from concept through high-volume manufacturing, working on products that deliver internet to remote and underserved areas globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience with CAD and FEA software packages
  • 1+ years professional experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends; travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Own Starlink consumer hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production and launch
  • Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and drive system-level optimization
  • Test and iterate on products to enable high field reliability and performance
  • Design and develop production lines including robot end effector design, process development, and automation
  • Refine production system for high-rate, high-yield, reliable processes
