💼 About This Role

You'll join Axle Health's Interoperability team to design and implement EHR integrations that connect our scheduling platform to healthcare workflows. You'll architect high-volume systems supporting hundreds of thousands of patients, collaborating with a top-tier team backed by Y Combinator.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement Electronic Health Record (EHR) integrations
• Architect high volume systems supporting hundreds of thousands of patients
• Develop and evolve API integrations within the Axle Health ecosystem
• Collaborate with and lead other engineers to build performant, scalable, secure systems
• Mentor junior engineers and write documentation to scale team knowledge

📋 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience
• Expertise building backend systems in Node + TypeScript (1-2 years)
• Hands-on experience working with SQL databases
• Proven ability to conduct effective code reviews

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience working with EHRs and healthcare interoperability (FHIR / HL7)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and build systems
• Track record of mentoring junior engineers
