Description

You will lead and expand a premium book in the Northern California region by growing relationships with retail agents, driving platform engagement, and identifying new business opportunities. This role involves hitting premium targets and playing a key part in modernizing E&S insurance distribution. You'll work in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment to achieve aggressive growth goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial P&C E&S products with nationally-recognized insurance carriers, intermediaries, or brokerages
  • Direct experience within the MGA, Programs, or E&S Binding authority space
  • Track record of building and maintaining strategic retail agent partnerships
  • Proven ability to lead sales meetings with senior executives at retail agencies
  • Internal drive to be the top performer
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, Slack, Notion, Ascend and Retool is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive premium growth by meeting monthly written premium targets
  • Manage sales pipeline and qualify new relationships
  • Own agent relationships as primary point of contact
  • Perform QBRs with key agency partners
  • Maintain and grow key accounts through exceptional service
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, operations, marketing, and product teams
  • Develop market position through agent education and support
