You'll lead Relay's SRE team, ensuring platform reliability and scalability as the business grows. You'll partner across engineering to embed resilience into every feature and drive a culture of operational excellence. This role combines technical leadership with people growth in a high-impact fintech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing SRE team.
• Own reliability, scalability, and performance of Relay's platform.
• Lead and evolve SRE best practices including incident management.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data teams for reliability.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years managing engineers.
• 6+ years in SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
• Strong foundation in cloud environments (e.g. AWS) and modern infrastructure practices.
• Proven record partnering with Product and Engineering leaders.

• Built or scaled an SRE team at a growing fintech startup.
• Experience supporting high-availability systems in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with SLOs, error budgets, and capacity planning.
