💼 About This Role

You'll own the strategy and execution of Patreon's identity and access management capabilities, protecting millions of user accounts and securing billions in creator earnings. You'll lead initiatives across account integrity, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance, leveraging AI-powered systems for authentication and identity verification.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the roadmap for KYC/KYB programs and AML requirements
• Ship self-serve account recovery flows and login alerts
• Improve detection and observability across auth and sensitive actions
• Define success metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience in identity, access, or fraud prevention
• Experience building or integrating identity verification or KYC/AML systems
• Strong technical foundation to collaborate with engineering teams on tradeoffs
• Comfort working with data science, ML-driven systems, and risk scoring models

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with account takeover prevention and step-up authentication
• Familiarity with fraud detection and risk-based friction systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
