Description

You will lead a team of product engineers to build AI-powered SMS marketing experiences for top ecommerce brands, driving conversion and scalability in a high-growth, fully remote startup environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience directly managing engineers and developing top performers into principal engineers
• Experience mentoring staff engineers and highly technical contributors
• Experience working with AI technologies (predictive and generative)
• Demonstrated excellence in recruiting and onboarding engineers
• Early stage or high growth SaaS experience

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team to develop first AI product features
• Collaborate with AI engineers, product managers, and stakeholders on planning and execution
• Conduct performance management via feedback, 1:1s, and reviews
• Provide technical mentorship and professional development for direct reports and other engineers
• Recruit, hire, interview engineers, and advocate for new positions
