Description

You will build and lead the analytics function at Material Bank, owning how the business measures performance and makes data-driven decisions. You'll establish instrumentation, event taxonomy, and data models for the next-generation platform MB3, and work across Product, Marketing, and leadership to define metrics that drive engagement, conversion, and attribution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in analytics with ownership of a function or major initiative
  • Strong experience with instrumentation and event taxonomy design; Segment preferred
  • Experience building attribution models and understanding tradeoffs
  • Ability to translate business questions into data requirements and challenge assumptions
  • Experience defining KPIs and dashboard requirements across Product, Marketing, and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end instrumentation plan for MB3 including event taxonomy and data quality
  • Establish core metrics for Product, Marketing, and leadership aligned to business goals
  • Define success criteria and build migration scorecard with data on adoption and performance
  • Identify performance gaps, size impact of product initiatives, and inform roadmap decisions
  • Write dashboard requirements and partner with Data Engineering to ensure reporting usability
