Description

As Head of Compliance for Ripple's Australia entity, you will lead and improve the local AML/CTF compliance program, operationalize digital currency exchange payments activities, and collaborate with the Regulatory Compliance team on license initiatives. You will act as the designated AML/CTF Compliance Officer, develop policies and risk assessments, and represent Ripple before regulators.

Requirements

• 7+ years of AML/CTF and sanctions experience in ASIC/AUSTRAC-regulated firm
• Experience with digital currency exchanges and payments compliance
• Strong operational knowledge of compliance programs for payment institutions in Australia
• Ability to present AML/CTF topics to senior management and regulators
• Proven track record to coordinate multiple concurrent projects

Responsibilities

• Act as designated AML/CTF Compliance Officer under the AML/CTF Act
• Implement and develop Australia compliance programs and controls
• Develop policies, procedures, and risk assessments for new products
• Build local compliance operations and represent Ripple before ASIC and AUSTRAC
• Coordinate and submit periodic regulatory reports to ASIC and AUSTRAC
