Description

As a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer II, you will design piping and equipment for plumbing and fire protection systems in educational, healthcare, corporate, and science/technology projects. You'll prepare calculations, production drawings, and specifications, and review shop drawings for compliance. You'll collaborate with project teams, attend meetings, and may lead value engineering sessions.

Requirements

• Current PE or FPE in the United States required
• Minimum 4+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in Revit required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• LEED accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform designs of piping and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems
• Prepare calculations and production drawings from schematic to construction phases
• Edit specifications and specify equipment such as sprinkler, sewerage, and medical gas systems
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specifications and contract documents
• Interface with clients and project team, attending OAC meetings
