You'll own critical backend systems for Harvey's embedded experiences in Microsoft Word and Outlook, integrating AI-powered workflows. You'll shape product direction for new customer segments beyond law firms. This role offers high autonomy and deep customer interaction to define new offerings.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own backend architecture for embedded experiences like Word and Outlook integrations
• Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs for AI-powered workflows
• Partner directly with customers to understand workflows and translate insights into features
• Drive technical decisions in high-autonomy, ambiguous problem spaces

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years professional software engineering experience with backend or fullstack focus
• Strong track record designing and building production-grade distributed systems
• Comfort working directly with customers and translating feedback into technical solutions
• Excellent context-switching in ambiguous, exploratory environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building embedded applications or deep integrations like Office add-ins
• Experience with TypeScript and/or Python
• Background in AI or LLM-based systems
