You'll drive core development of Aiven for OpenSearch, focusing on automated management and AI-optimized infrastructure. You'll design self-healing recovery mechanisms and deploy GPU-powered instances for intensive search and AI workloads.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement automated management and self-healing recovery mechanisms for OpenSearch.
• Deploy GPU-powered instances to support search and AI workloads.
• Develop and integrate specialized AI node types for machine learning tasks.
• Own health, reliability, and availability metrics of OpenSearch platform.

📋 Requirements

• Deep technical knowledge of OpenSearch or Elasticsearch internals.
• Proven track record in building highly available distributed systems.
• Experience with hardware acceleration, specifically GPU-based instances.
• Experience designing automated recovery systems and performance-tuning algorithms.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ML frameworks and integrating LLMs with search engines.
• Prior experience within a managed service provider or high-growth startup.
