💼 About This Role

As the founding clinician of our substance use disorder program, you will design clinical protocols, oversee medical monitoring, and ensure every patient receives transformational virtual care. Your work will directly improve outcomes for adolescents and young adults with complex co-occurring needs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and optimize clinical decision trees for patient intake, acuity leveling, and transitions of care
• Set medical and psychiatric criteria for SUD program admissions and integrate evidence-based protocols
• Oversee daily operations of medical monitoring teams and act as final escalation point for clinical clearance cases
• Audit treatment fidelity, medication adherence, and program efficacy using real-time analytics
• Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to automate clinical workflows and improve predictive accuracy

📋 Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school with active unrestricted license and DEA registration
• 7+ years direct clinical experience treating complex substance use disorders, including dual-diagnosis cases
• 5+ years in medical leadership designing clinical protocols, decision trees, or medical clearance workflows
• Expert-level knowledge of MAT protocols, withdrawal management, and integration of behavioral therapies
• Strong familiarity with telehealth regulations and remote clinical clearance; proficiency in EMR and cloud-based tools
