💼 About This Role

You'll own the spacecraft's avionics integration, defining the electrical architecture and interfaces that connect subsystems into a coherent system. This role focuses on integrating COTS subsystems and driving hardware bring-up through qualification and launch. You'll work on satellites operating at just 200 km altitude, pushing the boundaries of VLEO technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define avionics architecture including power distribution, buses, and grounding strategy.
• Lead integration of COTS subsystems and manage electrical ICDs.
• Perform hardware bring-up and debug using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Own EGSE and test infrastructure for subsystem acceptance and HIL campaigns.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience integrating embedded electronics for space systems.
• Practical knowledge of spacecraft buses: CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, SpaceWire.
• Hands-on lab debugging skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Experience producing and managing ICDs with pinouts and signal definitions.

• Experience with COTS spacecraft subsystems and vendor management.
• Environmental test experience: TVAC, vibration, and shock.
• Familiarity with radiation effects and mitigations.
