💼 About This Role

You'll develop and implement Archer's enterprise security infrastructure and technical strategy, reporting directly to the CISO. You'll lead Zero Trust Architecture design across identity, cloud, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, SOX, and ITAR standards. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership in a cutting-edge aerospace company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement a unified Zero Trust Architecture across identity, network, cloud, application, and infrastructure domains.
• Lead cloud security infrastructure architecture and technical design (AWS and Azure) including secure landing zones and encryption strategies.
• Establish security control architecture aligned to NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 frameworks.
• Design and oversee identity and access management architecture (Okta, privileged access management, identity governance).

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in Security Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or related roles, with 3+ years in a lead or principal architect role.
• Expert-level understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles and hands-on implementation experience.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud security architecture (AWS and Azure) including networking, identity, and data protection.
• Expert-level understanding of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 frameworks with ability to design compliance solutions.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Federal Contractor industries.
• Familiarity with CMMC, FedRAMP, and DoD contract requirements.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, containerization (Kubernetes), and DevSecOps practices.
