Description

As a home care Occupational Therapist with BAYADA, you'll provide rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes, conducting evaluations, developing intervention plans, and educating patients to promote independent living. You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, using a touch pad tablet for documentation.

Requirements

• Current MD Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum one year recent experience as Occupational Therapist
• Graduation from accredited occupational therapy program
• Ability to work independently and manage time
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories
• Perform thorough evaluations of functional status including ADLs and IADLs
• Develop and revise individualized intervention plans
• Evaluate home environment for hazards and recommend equipment
• Document patient care using touch pad tablet
