Description

As a Senior Staff Engineer on the Developer Infrastructure team, you will shape the architectural strategies that enhance developer productivity across Stripe. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges, lead a team of engineers, and drive initiatives to measurably improve the development experience for thousands of engineers.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• 13+ years of software development or DevOps automation experience
• Experience building developer productivity systems (e.g., CI/CD, build systems)
• Experience leading projects at cross-team and company-wide scale
• Experience optimizing reliability and security of distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Define and design architectural strategies and abstractions for sustainable developer infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support key initiatives
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers
• Create strategies to measure and improve engineering productivity
• Develop strategies for deploying AI development tools across the organization
