Description

You will lead the design and development of full factory solutions for consumer electronics and gateways, managing automation projects from ideation through commissioning. You'll architect PLC code, implement safety systems, and create intuitive HMI screens while ensuring compliance with industrial standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or computer science
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical manufacturing, design, analysis, testing, or programming
• Experience with PLC programming (Beckhoff TwinCAT preferred), safety PLCs, and industrial networks
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL508A codes and electrical system design (EPLAN preferred)
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage automation projects including factory ideation, machine commissioning, and proof of rate capability
• Architect, write, and debug organized, documented, and reusable PLC code for high-volume manufacturing
• Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant safety systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and other equipment
• Generate user-friendly HMI screens for complex machines
• Design electrical systems compliant to NEC, NFPA, UL508A, and create schedules and budgets
