💼 About This Role

You'll define and lead DigiCert's API platform as both an internal engineering standard and an externally differentiated developer product. Your core impact will be setting API structure, governance, and developer experience, while also shaping the external developer portal and MCP strategy. This role offers the opportunity to be both the most demanding internal standard setter and the most credible external advocate for a best-in-class digital trust API platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the collective API platform vision, strategy, planning, and execution
• Serve as externally facing subject matter expert with customers and partners
• Decompose strategic objectives into phased operational goals and measures
• Lead buy/build assessments for platform components and vendor evaluation

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in platform or API products
• Proven expertise in API governance, developer experience, and platform strategy
• Experience with cross-functional leadership and portfolio-wide initiatives
• Strong understanding of market needs and competitive positioning in digital trust

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with PKI, DNS, or certificate lifecycle management
• Background in developer portals or MCP strategies
• Published articles or white papers on API platforms
