Description

As a Security Engineer at Contentful, you will manage daily security alerts and operations while leading initiatives to embed security practices across cloud-native applications and infrastructure. You'll collaborate with teams on architecture design, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation to drive meaningful security improvements in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years security engineering, DevSecOps, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on AWS architecture, services, and security features
• Proficiency in Python for building security tools
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container security
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to embed security safeguards and champion security-first mindset
• Conduct security assessments and remediation for cloud-native apps, infrastructure, and vendor integrations
• Support vulnerability management and drive remediation across product and corporate environments
• Develop and maintain security tools and automation
• Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis and remediation
