💼 About This Role

You'll provide strategic employment advice for Airwallex's global fintech platform, focusing on APAC while supporting EMEA. You'll partner with the People team to scale compliant employee lifecycle practices and handle cross-border employment issues. This role offers high impact in a fast-scaling environment backed by leading investors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise on hiring, performance management, terminations, compensation, and investigations.
• Partner with People team to support compliant employee lifecycle practices.
• Conduct and oversee internal workplace investigations.
• Collaborate on employment litigation and pre-litigation matters.
• Develop and scale employment processes via policies, training, and templates.

📋 Requirements

• 9-14 years of employment law experience with in-house and law firm mix.
• Qualified and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Strong understanding of global employment laws, particularly across APAC.
• Proven ability to lead sensitive employee relations matters and investigations.

• Additional languages such as Chinese.
• Experience with EMEA employment laws.
• Track record working across multiple jurisdictions in fast-scaling environments.
