You'll develop scalable distributed systems to manage financial risk for Stripe, a global payments platform. You'll design and build tools that process signals from various sources to drive automated mitigation actions. This role offers the chance to impact Stripe's global risk program.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and deploy scalable distributed systems
• Build and maintain APIs using Go, Java, Python, or Ruby
• Debug production issues across services and stack levels
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2 years of experience building software with Go, Java, Python, or Ruby
• 2 years of experience with distributed systems
• 2 years of experience developing APIs using RPC and RESTful APIs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL/PromQL/Elasticsearch
• Experience translating business needs into software requirements
