💼 About This Role

You'll conduct mechanical design and analysis of solid rocket motor components for advanced defense systems. You'll own subsystems from cradle to grave, supporting prototyping, manufacturing, and test operations. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge propulsion technology with high-volume production methods.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform CAD design of mechanical components
• Perform finite element analysis of structural and thermal systems
• Generate, review, and release engineering drawings
• Support prototyping, manufacturing, and test operations onsite

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience performing mechanical design and analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
• Experience operating CAD software and/or FEA software
• Understanding of hardware manufacturability and GD&T

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with NX CAD and/or Abaqus FEA
• Certification in GD&T
• Expertise in Excel, MATLAB, or Python for tool development
