💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team to conduct mechanical design and analysis of solid rocket motor components for Anduril's advanced propulsion systems. Your work will directly impact the performance of autonomous drones and solid rocket motors in demanding mission environments. This role offers the chance to own critical subsystems from cradle to grave and collaborate across multiple engineering teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead CAD design and finite element analysis of components.
• Develop mechanical solution architecture with Chief Engineer.
• Plan team tasks and deliverables to meet project milestones.
• Generate and release engineering drawings and product definitions.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD and FEA software.
• Knowledge of GD&T and hardware manufacturability.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with NX CAD or Abaqus FEA.
• Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Experience with propulsion systems.
