You'll define the long-term architectural roadmap for the iOS platform at Waymo, ensuring our codebase is modular and scalable. Your work will directly impact the passenger experience as we launch in new cities, building foundational frameworks for networking and data persistence. You'll mentor senior engineers and drive engineering excellence across the team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define long-term technical strategy and architectural roadmap for iOS platform
• Build and own foundational frameworks for networking, authentication, and data persistence
• Drive engineering excellence through deep technical design reviews and best practices
• Mentor senior engineers and guide their architectural thinking

📋 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years experience building and shipping mobile apps from scratch
• Experience with SwiftUI in a production environment
• Experience partnering with product managers and designers

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building and releasing on the iOS App Store
• Experience with UIKit, CoreAnimation, and other iOS libraries
• Experience with C++
