💼 About This Role

You'll architect, build, and scale infrastructure and automation for the Data department at Agoda, a global travel company. You'll drive technical strategy and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and velocity across teams. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale distributed systems and foster a strong DevOps culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and lead automation and orchestration strategies for on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and drive modernization of operations and release strategies.
• Lead architectural discussions for complex infrastructure and automation systems.
• Drive the technical roadmap for DevOps initiatives and solve challenging infrastructure problems.

📋 Requirements

• Expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Golang, Python).
• Proven experience designing and owning the full SDLC for large-scale systems.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals and distributed systems.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).

✨ Nice to Have

• Proven track record of operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Service Mesh solutions (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
