Description

You will lead selection and integration of aircraft engines and fuel systems for unmanned air vehicles, designing and testing prototype components, coordinating with vendors, and supporting critical hardware demonstrations. Your work directly contributes to transforming military capabilities with advanced technology.

Requirements

• 8+ years of propulsion engineering experience on air vehicles
• Professional experience with jet engines in the 1,000-20,000 lb thrust class
• Experience with engine cycle decks and testing of engines or powertrain components
• Experience designing mechanical parts and surface loft (CAD)
• Eligible for U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Select and integrate aircraft engines, engine components, and fuel systems on unmanned air vehicles
• Design, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systems
• Plan, instrument, and execute tests of aircraft propulsion systems
• Coordinate with engine vendors and manage development projects
• Support CAD design for internal aerodynamic loft, surfaces, and structures
