๐ผ About This Role
You'll lead how data is sourced, integrated, and structured within PMC's data warehouse, ensuring it is consistent and trusted for decision-making across editorial, audience, product, and advertising teams. You will operate as both architect and hands-on builder, designing data models and guiding ingestion strategies for brands like Variety, Billboard, and Rolling Stone.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Define data sourcing and integration from CMS, analytics, and ad tech systems
- Design and maintain scalable data models for business-ready datasets
- Lead transformation workflows using dbt in Snowflake and BigQuery
- Establish data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring
- Partner with Data Engineering on ingestion patterns and pipeline performance
๐ Requirements
- 8+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering
- Expert-level SQL and scalable data model design
- Modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and cloud (AWS/GCP)
- Hands-on dbt or similar transformation tool experience
โจ Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Parsely
- Familiarity with advertising data (Google Ad Manager, programmatic)
- Experience supporting Looker BI tool
