You'll lead how data is sourced, integrated, and structured within PMC's data warehouse, ensuring it is consistent and trusted for decision-making across editorial, audience, product, and advertising teams. You will operate as both architect and hands-on builder, designing data models and guiding ingestion strategies for brands like Variety, Billboard, and Rolling Stone.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Define data sourcing and integration from CMS, analytics, and ad tech systems
  • Design and maintain scalable data models for business-ready datasets
  • Lead transformation workflows using dbt in Snowflake and BigQuery
  • Establish data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring
  • Partner with Data Engineering on ingestion patterns and pipeline performance

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 8+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering
  • Expert-level SQL and scalable data model design
  • Modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and cloud (AWS/GCP)
  • Hands-on dbt or similar transformation tool experience

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Parsely
  • Familiarity with advertising data (Google Ad Manager, programmatic)
  • Experience supporting Looker BI tool
