You will deliver high availability, performance, and security for tens of billions of page views per month across 30 private data centers globally. As part of a small, vertically integrated team, you'll manage infrastructure including Nginx, MySQL, and PHP applications, with opportunities to influence architecture and automation.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining large Nginx setups with advanced routing, load balancing, and high availability
• Experience running large MySQL/MariaDB deployments with high performance and data integrity
• Experience running and debugging PHP applications at scale
• Deep operational experience with large public-facing web hosting systems
• Ability to autonomously architect, prototype, and maintain solutions for diverse hosting requirements

Responsibilities

• Maximize service availability and uptime through proactive planning, automation, and rapid failure response
• Optimize server-side and client-side interactions for speed, working with third-party services as needed
• Ensure security and data integrity through proactive monitoring, enforcement, and disaster recovery
