💼 About This Role

You'll lead a small engineering team designing life safety solutions for Alertus. You'll mentor engineers while actively contributing to product development of mass notification systems. This role blends hands-on technical work with team leadership in a collaborative environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and prototype hardware solutions as part of a team
• Create BOMs, assembly instructions, and test plans for production
• Work with QA to ensure product requirements are met
• Provide technical assistance to sales teams for legacy products

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on product and system design experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Management experience within an engineering team
• Experience with schematic capture tools and PCB design

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with network device operation and infrastructure
• Experience with low power/battery-powered design
• Knowledge of EMI/ESD susceptibility reduction techniques
