You'll be a key contributor within a cross-functional team at Nium, building and maintaining card issuance capabilities for a global payment infrastructure platform. You'll lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive code quality and best practices in a hybrid, Mumbai-based role. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and plan technical initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Develop robust, scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and training.
• Improve team processes and tools to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

📋 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience designing and building scalable software systems.
• Deep expertise in Java and frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL and relational database design skills including performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful API design and consumption.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with OpenAPI for API documentation.
