Description

You will lead materials characterization and validation activities, procure analytical equipment as needed, and analyze chemical, physical, and thermal properties of battery materials to drive mechanistic understanding of Li-metal anode cell performance failure modes.

Requirements

• Doctorate in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related fields with 5+ years experience
• Expertise in operating GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, DSC, TGA, SEM, XPS, Raman, NMR
• Experience with moisture-sensitive materials in glovebox or dry room
• Experience in electrochemistry, specifically lithium-ion batteries
• Ability to analyze data and communicate insights
