Description

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician on the Starship program, you will maintain and repair complex automation systems, troubleshoot control, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure optimal asset performance, directly contributing to advancing human space exploration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years of maintenance technician experience
• 2+ years with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and/or electrical repair
• Ability to work at heights up to 500ft and in confined spaces
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen or permanent resident)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure proper operating condition
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automation systems
• Troubleshoot control electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, etc.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems (actuators, valves, pumps, filters)
• Troubleshoot automated tool mechanical systems (ballscrews, linear rails, gearboxes)
